Armada de la liberté" organises, from 6th to 16th June 2019, a gathering of sailing ships, warships and cruisers in Rouen, Normandy.

Under the terms of Article 6 of French law no. 2004-575 of June 21st 2004, regarding Confidence in the Digital Economy, users are informed of the identity of persons and entities involved in producing and operating the website of Armada. "Armada de la liberté" is an association governed by the French law of 1901, declared on the Seine-Maritime Prefacture on 28.12.1990 (Official Journal on 06.02.1991).

2. General terms and conditions of use of the site and services offered
The use of the website of Armada (http://www.armada.org) implies full and complete acceptance of the terms and conditions described below. These terms and conditions of use may be amended or supplemented at any time, users of the website of Armada are thus invited to consult them on a regular basis.
This site is normally accessible to users at all times. Interruption due to technical maintenance may however be required by Armada, which will endeavour to give users prior notice of the dates and times of the intervention.

3. Description of the services provided
The purpose of the website of Armada is to provide information about the association’s activities.
Armada endeavours to provide information as accurate as possible. However, it may not be held liable for omissions, inaccuracies and deficiencies in updates, whether they are the result of its own doing or that of a third-party partner providing said information.
All information shown on the website www.armada.org is indicative and is subject to change. Furthermore, the details on the website are not exhaustive. They are provided subject to any modifications conducted since being posted online.
4. Contractual limitations on technical data

The website can not be held responsible for material damage related to the use of the site. In addition, the user of the site agrees to access the site using recent equipment, not containing any viruses and with a browser of last generation up-to-date.
5. Intellectual property and counterfeits
Armada owns the intellectual property rights or has the rights to use all the elements available on the site, including text, images, graphics, logos, icons, sounds and software.
Any reproduction, representation, modification, publication, adaptation of all or part of the elements of the site, whatever the means or process used, is prohibited without the prior written permission of armada.
Any unauthorized use of the site or any of the elements contained therein shall constitute forgery and shall be prosecuted in accordance with the provisions of articles L.335-2 et seq. of the French Intellectual Property Code.
6. Limitations of liability
Armada shall not be liable for direct or indirect damage to the equipment of the user, incurred as a result of accessing the site of Armada, and resulting either from the use of equipment that does not meet the specifications stated in point 4, or due to the appearance of a bug or incompatibility.
Interactive sections (opportunity to ask questions in the contact area) are available to users. Armada reserves the right to delete, without prior notice, any content posted in this section that would violate the law applicable in France, particularly provisions regarding data protection. Where appropriate, Armada also reserves the right to question the civil and/or criminal liability of the user, particularly in the event of racist, offensive, defamatory, or pornographic messages, regardless of the medium (text, photos, etc.).
7. Management of personal data
In France, personal data is protected specifically by law no.78-87 of 6th January 1978, law no. 2004-801 of 6th August 2004, article L. 226-13 of the French Penal Code and the European Directive of 24th October 1995.
When using the website of Armada, the following may be collected: URL links through which the user accessed the site, the user’s internet provider, and the user’s Internet Protocol (IP) address.
Whatever the circumstances, Armada only collects personal data about users for the requirements of certain services provided by the site. Users provide this information knowingly, particularly when they enter it themselves. Users are informed as to whether the provision of said information is mandatory.
No personal data of users of the site is published, exchanged, transferred, assigned or sold, on any medium whatsoever to third parties without the user’s knowledge. Only the assumption of a takeover of Armada and its rights will enable the transmission of such information to the prospective purchaser who would in turn be given the same obligation to store and modify data with respect to the user of the website of Armada.
The databases are protected by the provisions of the French law of 1st July 1998 transposing directive 96/9 of 11th March 1996 concerning the legal protection of databases.

The website of Armada contains a number of hypertext links to other sites, set up with the permission of Armada. However, Armada is unable to check the content of the websites visited and thereby assumes no liability for the same.

Set the retention rules to: use custom settings for history. Finally, uncheck it to deactivate cookies.
Under Safari: Click on the top right of the browser on the menu pictogram (symbolized by a cog). Select Settings. Click Show Advanced Settings. In the “Privacy” section, click Content Settings. In the “Cookies” section, you can block cookies.

9. Applicable law and attribution of jurisdiction
Any dispute pertaining to the use of the website is subject to French law. The competent courts in Paris shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
