It was baptized Laced coffee in honor of the woman of general Reveiz Pizarro, died before his(1000its) launch.
He is considered as the ambassador of this country, in every port where he makes stopover. It was reorganized in 1975 to serve as place of itinerant exhibition of the Colombian heritage.
It always impresses upon its arrival in ports; its sailors, singing in yards, are dressed in the colors of the country and are accompanied with their own brass band of edge.
Its figurehead, covered in the gold leaf, is called Maria Salud, the girl of the sculptor.
