Gotheborg
Götheborg is a ship with veil(1000sail) of 3 masts being 74 meters. It is a replica in the real scale of an eponym trade vessel of the 18th century.
The original ship was built in 1738 in docks Terra Nova of Stockholm for the Swedish Company of East Indies. The latter sank into the port of Gothenburg on September 12th, 1745 by coming back from China, having struck a cliff near Älvsborg. The ship transported some tea, a big china quantity and six tons of Silver metal. The wreck was rediscovered in 1984.
Built between 1995 and 2003, Götheborg made its inaugural journey in 2004 on the tracks of its grandfather with in its edge 80 men of crew among whom 60 pupils.
