Mutin
The Mutin is the oldest sailing unit of the navy. Built in 1926 in the construction site Florimond-Guignardeau of Sables-d'Olonne on the basis of the local tuna boats, it joins London in 1940 to serve the British secret services where it fishes for information to the advantage of the Allies and of the Resistance.
Since 1968 at the naval School, the Mutin participates in the training of the youth of the Navy .The Mutin makes missions of instruction (1000from September till April) and of representation (1000from April till September) on the French Atlantic facade.
It is the oldest boat of the Navy still in service.
