Skjold
Built in 1999, Skjold is a Norwegian patrol boat. Its name means "Shield" in Norwegian. Real jewel of technology, it has 4 turbines and 2 hydrojets delivering a power of 12 000 kW. It is capable of reaching the speed of 45 knots on moderate sea.
This military boat belongs in Royal Norwegian Navy. It is conceived in fiberglass and in carbon. Its turret of 76mm is capable of hiring simultaneously several objectives to a reach of 12km. It is equipped with two machine guns of 12,7 mm as well as with 8 anti-ship missiles. It also has systems of detection and communication extremely perfected.
