Zénobe Gramme
Zenobe Gramme is a ketch built in Belgium. It currently serves as a training ship for the Belgian Royal Navy.
It is named after the wise Zénobe Gramme, who invented the dynamo in 1869.
During its construction, it was designed to be an oceanographic research vessel.
Since 1970, it has been used as a training ship for the Belgian Navy and as a public relations vessel; its home port is Zeebrugge.
It has been participating in the Tall Ships Race since 1972. It won the Cutty Sark Trophy in 1976 and the Sail Training International Ince Trophy in 2003.
